Employment

Heritage Christian School has a unique environment and truly believes in a faculty that functions as a family. We do require state certification or ACSI certification for teachers—we can help the right candidate receive this certification. We have found that Christian education works best when we seek those who share our values and have a natural teaching ability.

  • Subject-matter expertise.
  • A strong Christian testimony.
  • Agreement with the school’s philosophy, mission, beliefs, and Statement of Faith.
  • Actively involved in a local evangelical church and being recommended by a pastor.

After School Care Staff


Join the Heritage Christian School Team!


Heritage Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable, and Christ-centered individual to join our After School Care Program. This part-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in a positive Christian environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in a safe and caring setting.
  • Lead games, homework time, crafts, and other activities.
  • Encourage positive, Christ-like behavior.
  • Communicate with parents and staff.
  • Follow school safety procedures.


Qualifications

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with Christian values.
  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work well with others.
  • Childcare or education experience is preferred but not required.


Schedule

  • School days
  • Approximately 3:30–5:00 p.m.
  • Part-time
