Deanna Ward has served as the Accountant at HCS since 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from McPherson College in 1991 and earned her CPA certificate from the Kansas Board of Accountancy in 1995. Before joining HCS, she worked in public accounting for six years. Deanna and her husband have three adult children, two of whom are HCS graduates, and five grandchildren. She enjoys camping, kayaking, boating, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. A member of Capital City Church, Deanna is also actively involved in the children’s ministry program, where she loves investing in the lives of the next generation. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 18:2: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
