Mrs. Runyan received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Emporia State University, a Master of Science Degree in Special Education and Behavior Disorders from Fort Hays State University, and has over forty-five years of experience in private, public, and homeschool education. She specializes in diagnostic testing and remedial teaching in the regular and special education classroom. Mrs. Runyan has been part of the faculty of HCS since January of 2006. Jamie began her personal relationship with Jesus fifty-eight years ago, and she and her husband, Brad, are members of Lion and Lamb Church in Topeka, where she coordinates the Children's Sunday School Program and teaches the two and three-year-old Sunday School Class. They have three married children and ten grandchildren.
