Mrs. Janeal Lischke is the administrator of Heritage Christian School in Topeka, Kansas. She has served in Christian education since 1988. She attends Topeka Baptist Church. She was saved at the age of 12 in a chapel service after hearing Godʼs wonderful plan of salvation and knowing that she needed a Savior. She felt called of God to full-time Christian work in education. She has a great desire to use her skills and talents to spread Godʼs Word and impact young lives for Christ on a daily basis and encourage students to have a focus on God, His Word, and His kingdom. She has taught in the elementary and the secondary classrooms and has taught physics, mathematics, history, and language arts in the middle school and high school. She was the head fifth grade teacher and assisted in the accreditation and the improvement process at Faith Baptist Schools in Canoga Park, California with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges from 1988-2005. After moving to Kansas in 2005, she worked with Heritage Christian School to achieve initial accreditation status in 2012, and again in 2017 and 2022. She became principal at Heritage in 2009 and has worked with curriculum and development at Heritage. She has served on several accreditation teams for AdvancEd/Cognia and has been certified for ACSI accreditation teams. Her experience includes teacher, department chair, counselor, curriculum coordinator, and administrator. Mrs. Lischke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Hyles Anderson in Indiana and has earned principal certification from the Association of Christian Schools International as well as certifications in elementary education, secondary English, mathematics, social studies, and science from ACSI with a lifetime Bible certification. Janeal is married to Marc Lischke and has three adult daughters and one grandson.
