Mrs. Laursen is our 2nd Grade Teacher. She has a passion for gardening,

creativity, and the arts. She has previously taught preschool and elementary art.

Mrs. Laursen is a part of our PTF planning committee. Jessica moved to Topeka in 2022 with her family from Central Florida. She has been married to her husband, Travis, for 16 years and has two children, Finnigan and Ariel. Finnigan is in 8th grade, and Ariel is in 6th grade here at Heritage. Mrs. Laursen’s educational background is in Early Child Development, and she is very passionate about furthering the education of today’s youth. It is her greatest wish to see every child develop a loving and dedicated relationship with God. Her home church is Northland Christian Church, where she volunteers as a youth ministry leader in her free time.
