Mrs. Stirtz graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of

Science in Horticultural Therapy and a minor in Spanish. She has several years of experience as a homeschool teacher and has been teaching at Heritage Christian School since 2014. Mrs. Stirtz teaches World History and Spanish 1 & 2 to High school 9th and 10th graders, and elementary Spanish to Kindergarten through 6th graders. Katherine has a passion for world missions and evangelism which grew through taking the course Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and involvement with the No Place Left movement. Katherine enjoys sharing these passions with her classes. Katherine loves hiking, reading, and especially being a wife to her husband, Brent, and a mother to their four children.
