Meagan King is married to her high school sweetheart, Jake, and together they have four children who attend HCS, along with a loyal German Shepherd and a handful of family cats at home. She joined HCS in 2023 and serves as the Office Manager and Enrollment Coordinator after spending 17 years in the financial and service industry. Meagan and her husband also own and operate The Tee Box, a golf-themed restaurant and catering business on downtown Kansas Ave. When she’s not serving families at HCS or at The Tee Box, Meagan can be found cheering at her kids’ activities, serving on her church worship team, gardening, creating graphic designs, or recording episodes for her podcast, The Good Portion Mama. She also loves a good book, a quiet sunrise, the sound of the ocean, the Jayhawks, and all the hugs. Meagan’s God given purpose is to bring joy and light to those around her while using her gift of leadership and organization. As a natural born ‘Martha’ who longs to be a Mary, Meagan’s life verse is Luke 10:41-42: “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
