I believe in a Christ centered education since I became a mother many years ago.  I was blessed to have homeschooled my children for a total of 18 years! I know the sacrifice of training children to be a follower of His word by either homeschooling or sending them to a private Christian school. After my children

were no longer homeschooled, I became a Special Education Para Educator in a

public school for 11+ years before being blessed by teaching here at Heritage. I am married to Marty Bussen and we have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. We raised our children in Mayetta, Kansas and moved to Topeka in 2020. I hold true to Galatians 2:20 “Yet not I, but through Christ.”
